As a parttime electrical technician in Groningen, you are the guardian of the power supply. Forget about coding or software! Your focus is on the heavy-duty electrical systems that keep a massive data center running 24/7.

You'll work on the "heart" of the building, performing maintenance and repairs on high-end electrical installations. When a notification hits your laptop, it's not a software bug; it's a physical challenge. You and your team will dive into:

• Power Distribution: Troubleshooting grid overloads and switchgear;
• Emergency Systems: Maintaining and repairing massive backup generators;
• Critical Infrastructure: Ensuring the electrical components of cooling systems never fail;
• Installation: Scaling up the facility by installing new electrical hardware.

As a parttime electrical technician in Groningen, you are a technician at heart with an interest for electrotechnics. Whether you are an experienced hand or a motivated starter, you understand that without power, there is no data.

• You have a strong affinity for electrical circuits, wiring, and power systems;
• You are eager to learn the specifics of high-availability power grids;
• You enjoy the "hands-on" nature of a physical site over a desk job.

Working days and time

You will work a minimum of 36 hours per week, from Monday to Friday. Your day starts at 07:00 AM. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, you and your team will prioritize the tasks for the day. Each day brings different challenges. The best part? You're done by 4:00 PM.
