This position reports to:
Continuous Improvement Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will be r esponsible for providing operational, technical and process support that enables safe, efficient and high-
quality manufacturing operations and for driving continuous improvement and root-cause resolution across production lines.

• Facility readiness and layout set up for new factory.

• Rack installation and visual controls; including pallet and flow racks.

• Cycle time studies, standard work creation

• Calculate cycle time, takt time and lead times

• Material flow and Kanban systems

• Define Kanban loops and bin systems; including installing racks.

• Set min / max levels

• Build supermarket locations and visuals

• Marking aisles, walkways and cells

• Establishing 5S zones and ownership

• Maintain process maps, layouts, cycle time logs

• Install labels, barcodes, and location markers

• Perform time studies on key operations

• Build standard work combination charts and capacity tables

• Other activities as identified.

The work model for the role is: onsite

This role is contributing to the success of the Selmer busway factory.

Qualifications for the role

• 2 years of hands-on manufacturing, production support, or equipment troubleshooting experience.

• Prefer Associates degree or higher in manufacturing technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with common production equipment and industrial controls.

• Clear verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to train others.

Break Fix and Welding experience is a plus.

• Computer skills; ie: Excel; Word; Powerpoint; Outlook, computer assessment test will be given

• Proficiency with basic data analysis and production metrics.

• Working knowledge of root-cause tools such as 8D, RCA, or Fishbone analysis.

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement Certification.

• Experience with PLCs, HMI, and basic electrical troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO, GMP, or AS9100.

• Experience supporting automated lines, robotics, or vision inspection systems.

• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration experience.

Must have a current US visa work permit valid in US.
