JOB DESCRIPTION

Specific responsibilities include:

2.1 Operate all custom Zap-Lok end preparation machines in a safe and responsible manner.

2.2 Sets up and dials in all custom Zap-Lok end prep machines.

2.3 Assists the Maintenance Department with conducting basic maintenance on all Zap-Lok end prep equipment.

2.4 Be able to identify any problems or issues with Zap-Lok equipment and be able to solve the problem or issue in a quick and safe manner.

2.5 Help Lead Inspector perform basic QA/ QC checks on Zap-Lok connections to ensure they meet Company specifications and tolerances.

2.6 Be able to work in a repetitive and fast moving environment.

2.7 Helps Lead inspector keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and/ or calling for repairs or replacements.

2.8 Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

2.9 Updates job knowledge by participating in all Company provided training classes.

2.10 Attends weekly documented safety meeting with other employees usually held by the HSE representative. Participates in company STOP Card program.

3.0 Qualifications

3.1 Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.

3.2 Ability to comprehend and speak English fluently.

3.3 High school diploma or equivalent

3.4 Practical knowledge of construction equipment and construction processes.

3.5 Troubleshooting skills required.

3.6 Must possess basic computer skills for documenting daily production reports. Microsoft Office preferred.

3.7 Good verbal communication skills.

3.8 Some travel is required.
