Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
- Conduct and document ECD preventative maintenance and site inspections to ensure proper safeguard operation, ECD efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- Perform or initiate any manufacturer required repairs.
- Assemble and repair oil field machinery/equipment.
- Provide assistance to Operations as needed.
- Develop, document and implement quality control procedures.
- Maintain company vehicle to ensure ability to safely and effectively perform required tasks.
- Abide by all Chevron Control of Work Standards and Standard Operation Procedures.
- Demonstrate commitment to safety and reducing environmental impact in all job aspects.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver's license
- 1-2 years of experience in Oil & Gas.
- Understanding of Reg 7 standard.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical ability test
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of equipment and tools commonly used in the oil and gas industry.
- Self-starter: possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Problem Solving: presents recommendations and builds on ideas of others. Possesses skills and knowledge to solve problems within job scope of work.
- Work well within a team.
- Basic knowledge with computers and technology.
