Roles and Responsibilities

• Support the Maintenance Engineering team with daily tasks such as failure analysis, equipment assessments, troubleshooting, and basic documentation.
• Participate in hands-on shop activities as needed, including inspections, testing, or evaluation of mechanical components.
• Support the development and implementation of standardized maintenance processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and equipment reliability.
• Work closely with maintenance engineers, planners, and sourcing teams to support ongoing operations.
• Collaborate with local technical experts and broader organizational teams as required.
• Gain hands-on training and mentorship from experienced maintenance engineers.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's (second year or higher) student in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering disciplines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, as well as strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to deliver tasks on time with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse groups.
• Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada without company sponsorship.
