ABOUT YOU

As the Lead Technician you will be a dedicated individual who is looking at building and develop a strong career within the aerospace industry. You will be an organised individual who is willing to learn and thrives as part of a dynamic team.

Required skills and experience:

• Good IT literacy skills
• Chemistry experience is required
• Method Validation experience would be advantageous
• Knowledge of the standard job authorisation process would be advantageous
• Experienced in troubleshooting equipment.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Lead Technician, you will be supporting with job authorisation, sample processing and ensuring compliance to relevant standards within the laboratory.

Key activities:

• Supporting booking in laboratory jobs using local GLIMS booking system and helping with the jobs authorization process.
• Processing routine samples in line with SOP's, including Wet Chemistry (titrations), ISE, Spectrophotometry & Ion Chromatography testing.
• Processing samples related to local method validation in accordance with a schedule agreed with the development team and relevant Section Head.
• Ensuring calibration and compliance to standards for the methods used are maintained, including ISO 17025
