We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Maintenance Welder to join our team in Edmonton. This role is shop-based and supports daily fabrication, repair, and maintenance activities using established SLB welding procedures. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting safe, high-quality operations and timely delivery of equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform welding and grinding activities in accordance with SLB welding procedures and quality standards.
• Read and interpret drawings and work instructions as required for each job.
• Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment as applicable.
• Conduct pre-use inspections of tools and equipment before starting work.
• Set up and position materials using appropriate tooling and equipment.
• Support material handling activities, including the use of forklifts and cranes.
• Follow all QHSE policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Communicate safety, process, and efficiency improvement opportunities within the shop.
• Work collaboratively with other welders and shop personnel.

Minimum Job Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• B-Pressure certification (required).
• Previous welding experience in a shop or industrial environment is considered an asset.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience is considered an asset (training can be provided).
• Ability to work in a physically demanding shop environment.
• Strong focus on safety, teamwork, and quality.
• Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in Canada, without sponsorship.
