• Quality Management Systems (QMS): Basic understanding of QMS principles Follows quality procedures and standards in day-to-day testing tasks
• Regulatory Standards: Familiar with discipline specific NDT regulations and ensures adherence in routine tasks
• NDT Techniques: Proficient in executing discipline specific NDT techniques such with the ability to conduct examination independently
• Root Cause Analysis: Support team members in root cause analysis through data collection and reporting
• Audit Management: Assist in preparing documentation for audits
• Process Improvement: Provide feedback from field experience to help streamline NDT processes
• Supplier Quality Management: Help verify that supplier materials and components meet required NDT standards
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks in testing and reports them to supervisors
Responsibilities
• Conduct various non-destructive tests {NDT) using appropriate methods and equipment to assess the quality and integrity of materials and components
• Apply technique such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant testing, as required
• Analyze test data and results to identify any defects, irregularities, or areas of concern
• Provide accurate and comprehensive assessments based on NDT findings
• Follow up on instances of substandard work identified during testing
• Work with relevant teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures to address and rectify issues
• Document test procedures, results, and findings in detailed inspection reports
• Ensure that all reports are accurate, clear, and compliant with industry standards and company protocols
• Observe and follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Participate in routine maintenance and calibration of NDT equipment to ensure reliable performance
• Adhere to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) standards and regulations applicable to the laboratory setting
• Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of QHSE practices and policies
Qualifications
Post-Secondary Technical Diploma or equivalent. ASNT level 2 discipline specific certification
Minimum 06 years of related work experience in similar industries
