Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage a team of proposal/site engineers to support the product business selling. Each day, you will formulate plans and allocate resources to support to meet the business targets. You will also showcase your expertise by initiating, coordinating, driving, and overseeing team development and continual improvement of processes and procedures to strengthen the engineering and design capability.

This role is contributing to the RARO/IND in China .

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Providing direction to the engineering team with a focus on functional safety, cybersecurity, on time delivery, quality, and margin improvement.
• Ensuring the projects/ operations value chain portfolio follow sound methodology and execution practices in accordance with internal standard procedures and that the projects are closed as per the contract specifications.
• Initiating, coordinating, driving, and overseeing continual improvement of processes and procedures to strengthen the engineering / design capability and efficiency, utilize agile methodologies to reduce engineering lead time, and enhance functional safety and cybersecurity.
• Driving team performance to ensure that the deliverables are met on time and as per the set contract specifications and safety, cyber security, and quality requirements.

Qualifications for the role

• You are highly skilled in the gernerational industry, consumer goods industry and electronic industry robot automation
• You have 15+ years of experience in robotics.
• You have rich experience of polishing/grinding/deburring/picking/packing/palletizing/machine tending/material handling apllications
• Have a demonstrated track record in new business development
• You have 10+ years of manager experience
