Title: Maintenance Assistant
Location: Nisku, AB
Day Shift: Mon - Fri 7:30am to 4pm.
OR Evening shift: Mon – Fri 2pm -10:30 pm
Start date: May 18, 2026
Contract duration: 7 months with possibility of extension


Summary:
The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for manufacturing and testing ESP components such as pumps, intakes, seals, and electric motors in a production environment. This role follows strict safety and manufacturing procedures to ensure high-quality results and equipment reliability.

Key Duties:
  •  Manufacture and test equipment as per procedure
  •  Follow detailed manufacturing and safety processes
  •  Operate an overhead crane and perform manual lifting (up to 50 lbs)
  •  Enter monthly risk and safety reports digitally
  •  Complete required online training and maintain safety certifications
  •  Perform daily preventative maintenance and inspections on tools and equipment
  •  Maintain clean and organized work areas
  •  Support production demands through occasional overtime

Requirements:

• Experience working with various hand tools and measuring tools
• Basic computer skills
• Eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship
