Job Description

Perform equipment maintenance, installations, repair, and upgrades on NMDC automated welding and support systems. • Troubleshoot welding and support equipment and determine required corrective/preventive actions. • Calibration of equipment. • Maintain equipment logs and shift reporting. • Any other duties may be assigned from which they may be required by reporting and operational leaders. • Maintain the required level of automatic welding spares and consumables on board of offshore barges/ vessels during pipeline installation campaigns • Maintain and optimize automatic welding equipment to improve installation rates and reduce the cost of operation • Attend toolbox and safety meetings with the welding crews for implementation of NPCC/ Client's HSE safety procedures and to provide safe working environment on board of offshore pipelay barges/ vessels • Company policies & procedures, Policy of Integrity & Code of Conduct & HSE standards

*Qualifications for Internal Candidates

Secondary School Certificate with a discipline-specific Technical qualification, or equivalent

Minimum 05 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas Industry
