On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a Maintenance Manager on fixed term contract basis for a one (1) year assignment reporting directly to Project Director to join our OMC team based in Iraq.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments of current maintenance operations, including equipment, processes, and personnel, to identify areas for improvement.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement maintenance strategies and plans that align with the organizations goals and objectives.
- Process improvement: Recommend and implement best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and maintenance management systems to optimize maintenance activities.
- Team leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the maintenance team, including training and development programs to enhance their skills and performance.
- Budget management: Assist in the preparation and management of the maintenance Budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Vendor management: Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to Ensure quality and timely maintenance services.
- Compliance and safety: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant safety regulations and standards, promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of maintenance activities and drive continuous improvement.
- Project management: Oversee maintenance projects, including Planning, scheduling, and coordinating resources to Ensure timely and successful completion.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations on maintenance performance, recommendations, and progress for senior management."
About you:

Studies: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Years of Experience: 15
- Particular Expertise:
- Experience with predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance techniques in refining facilities.
- Proven Experience in developing and implementing maintenance strategies and programs in refining facilities.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of energy management and sustainability practices.
- Strong Knowledge of maintenance management systems (CMMS) and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
