Job Title: Technician - Electrical
Working Location: Dubai

Key Responsibilities:
- Attend to all electrical equipment breakdowns such as LV-MV motors, LV Switchboards, MCCs, Plant lightings, Transformers, UPS, VFD, Breakers, Soft starter, etc. Carry out planned, preventive, and predictive maintenance work with minimal direction and supervision.
- Identify and report any abnormalities. Repair and/or replace required items and reassemble and test the equipment, ensuring the working area is left clean.
- Technically assess the requirements of allocated jobs and select the necessary tools and equipment to complete the work.
- Effectively diagnose electrical breakdowns and failures, and troubleshoot electrical failures of plant and equipment with minimal or no direction.
- Use computerized maintenance systems to order spare parts from the warehouse and maintain records of all completed maintenance work.
- Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with safety procedures and plant operational requirements.
- Monitor any repeated breakdowns and recommend proper modifications to resolve the problem.
- Provide plant and equipment knowledge to newly joined electricians and craft trainees, as well as contractors, to assist them in carrying out maintenance work.
- Continuously work towards improving EHS and plant and equipment performance by participating in 5S, business excellence, and safety initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as communicated by supervisor or superior.
- Assist other departments in the repair and troubleshooting of equipment.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Diploma in a relevant field.
- Completion of PEC Craft Training.

Minimum Experience:
- 3 years of relevant experience in a heavy industry after obtaining a Diploma.
- No experience required after completion of PEC Training.

Skills:
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
- Familiarity with all maintenance tools and strong IT knowledge.
- Experience in installation and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, manuals, and instructions.
