Job Title: Technician - Instrument Maintenance

Working Location: Dubai

Key Responsibilities:
- Attend to Power and Desalination plant field instrumentation breakdowns and perform planned maintenance with minimum direction and supervision.
- Technically assess the requirements of assigned jobs and select the necessary tools and equipment to complete work effectively.
- Utilize a computerized maintenance system to order spare parts from the warehouse and maintain records of all maintenance completed.
- Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with plant safety procedures and operational requirements. Report repeated breakdowns and assist in Root Cause Failure Analysis to identify and implement optimum solutions.
- Provide on-the-job training to new craftsmen, equipping them with the necessary skills to carry out maintenance repair work as planned.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Higher secondary certificate or diploma.

Minimum Experience:
- Familiar with all maintenance tools and possess solid knowledge of plant safety.
- Previous experience working in a power or desalination plant, with exposure to the maintenance and calibration of field instrumentation such as:
- Pressure, temperature, level, and flow measuring devices.
- Pneumatic and hydraulic valve actuation systems.
- CO2 fire protection systems.
- Infrared gas detection systems.
- Ability to work under time and technical pressure, understanding that errors may lead to substantial equipment delays, damage, or personnel injury.
- Willingness and ability to work shift duty and be called out at any time to attend breakdowns as requested.
- Proactive in keeping up to date with new technologies and control concepts. Comfortable working in hot, dirty environments, and on high-level platforms.

Skills:
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings and manuals.
- Knowledge and experience in electrical, electronics, computer, hydraulic, and pneumatic devices.
