Your Role: Own the Challenge
In this role, you will lead the factory Maintenance team in planning and implementing initiatives to maintain and improve the reliability, effectiveness, and efficiency of equipment, technical infrastructure, production lines, and facilities.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing equipment life cycle management practices to optimize costs and profitability. Additionally, you will drive continuous improvement by proposing projects focused on reducing both routine and non-routine maintenance.
You will also ensure that all machinery, equipment, plant services, and building infrastructure are properly maintained and in optimal operating condition to meet production requirements.
The work model for the role is: On site
Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.
This role supports the Smart Buildings NEMA Enclosures factory in Ramos Arizpe.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and manage the annual maintenance budget by monitoring costs and evaluating the effectiveness of activities to optimize resources.
- Establish maintenance policies and processes to maximize equipment and facility efficiency.
- Develop and implement life cycle management procedures for new and existing equipment.
- Define maintenance plans for new production lines and recommend methods to improve reliability, maintenance practices, and equipment safety in collaboration with Engineering.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs), such as MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), to evaluate team performance.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in maintenance, preferably involving machinery, equipment, plant services, and building infrastructure within the metal-mechanical industry.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance techniques, including mechanical, electrical, and engineering principles.
- Solid understanding of reliability strategies, operational excellence, financial management, and lifecycle management.
- Proven experience in team leadership.
- Advanced proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Experience with automation processes and programming languages is considered a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field).
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to solve complex technical issues.
