Job Summary
Alaska Overview
The Alaska segment primarily explores for, produces, transports and markets crude oil, natural gas and NGLs. We are the largest crude oil producer in Alaska and have major ownership interests in the Prudhoe Bay, Kuparuk and Western North Slope asset areas. Additionally, we are one of Alaska's largest owners of state, federal and fee exploration leases, with approximately one million net undeveloped acres at year-end 2025. Alaska operations contributed 12 percent of our consolidated liquids production and one percent of our consolidated natural gas production.
In 2025, net crude oil production for Alaska averaged 199 MBOED.
Position Overview
If you are selected as the Aviation Maintenance Coordinator, you will report directly to the ConocoPhillips Alaska (CPA) Director of Maintenance. Maintenance Coordinators assure that all maintenance, inspections, repairs, and alterations performed to aircraft operated by ConocoPhillips Alaska is done so with the highest regard for safety and by Federal Aviation Regulations and ConocoPhillips' policy. The Aviation Maintenance Coordinator works closely with other maintenance team members to continually evaluate and improve all aspects of the maintenance operations.

Position Overview
If you are selected as the Aviation Maintenance Coordinator, you will report directly to the ConocoPhillips Alaska (CPA) Director of Maintenance. Maintenance Coordinators assure that all maintenance, inspections, repairs, and alterations performed to aircraft operated by ConocoPhillips Alaska is done so with the highest regard for safety and by Federal Aviation Regulations and ConocoPhillips' policy. The Aviation Maintenance Coordinator works closely with other maintenance team members to continually evaluate and improve all aspects of the maintenance operations.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Maintaining and promoting ConocoPhillips Alaska' s zero rate incident safety culture while employing efficient procedures that support customer service
- Providing ethical and responsible representation for the company when dealing with business associates, officials, and customers per company policies
- Ensures reliability, safety, service, and security of all Company Flight and Maintenance Operations and maintains legal compliance with all Federal, State and Local Aviation Regulations
- Authority to remove from service aircraft operated by CPA that are not in compliance with FAA regulations, CPA policy or industry standards
- Reviewing internal policies, forms, manuals and their requirements for accuracy and pertinence. Revise and obtain FAA approval as necessary when changes are appropriate and necessary. These manuals include but are not limited to the aircraft Inspection Program, the ConocoPhillips General Maintenance Manual, and all technical manuals for the Company aircraft
- Ensuring the following areas and programs are kept up to date and compliant: Airworthiness Directives, Repair Assessment, Supplemental Structural Inspection Document and emerging aging aircraft issues
- Evaluates Airworthiness Directives, regulatory changes, and manufacturer service information and recommends appropriate actions to ensure compliance, improve safety, reliability, and capability
- Identifies, obtains and maintains the technical publications required to perform maintenance
- Planning and Coordinating maintenance, inspection, and alterations within operational schedule
- Planning, coordinating, and performing on-site monitoring of heavy maintenance checks
- Keeping ConocoPhillips' Flight Operations, Dispatch and Reservations Departments appraised of estimated time for all scheduled or unscheduled repairs, maintenance and/or inspections
- Providing daily interaction with flight crews to ensure each aircraft's discrepancies are properly addressed
- Evaluates recommended modifications to aircraft to improve safety, reliability and capability
- Communicating with various airline companies, manufacturers and trade organizations within the airline industry to keep current in safety, regulatory, maintenance and financial issues pertaining to our operation
- Interacting and negotiating with the FAA as necessary to meet all requirements associated with the continued maintenance and operation of company aircraft
- Coordinating aircraft parts inventory and maintenance tracking systems.
- Obtaining FAA approval for special flight permits
- Obtaining FAA approval for all applications/notifications for extending any inspection period, component overhaul limit and/or a minimum equipment list (MEL) maintenance period
- Auditing all maintenance functions performed by the maintenance contractors with specific and detailed attention to maintenance logs, inspection and work forms, task tracking and work performance
- Reviewing documents generated by outside vendors & contractors, for accuracy and correctness prior to applying to company operated aircraft

Basic/Required:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Current/valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant license
- Current/valid Driver's license
- Currently hold, or be able to obtain upon hire, a state-issued Airport Secure Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge
- Ability to obtain and maintain FAA Inspection Authorization
- 5 or more years of aircraft maintenance experience
- 3 or more years of turboprop maintenance experience
- Ability to be on call 24/7 for a minimum of seven consecutive days per month
- Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to travel up to 40% on an annual basis
- Willing and able to meet the physical demands and work environment requirements outlined in this job description, with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred:
- 10 or more years of aircraft maintenance experience
- 1 or more years of De Havilland Q400 maintenance experience
- 1 or more years of Repair Station experience
- 1 or more years of quality assurance process experience
- 1 or more years of experience with the application of FAA Code of Federal Regulations CFR Title 14 Parts; 43, 65, 91, 121, 125, or 145
- Advanced aircraft systems knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs
- Ability to comprehend and analyze complex technical writings and possess good interpersonal skills
- Analyzes stakeholder needs, global, political, and market trends to understand how they shape the future and impact business results
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Work in remote locations with exposure to temperature extremes and adverse weather conditions
- Work both in and out of a company aircraft and vehicles
- Frequent or prolonged exposure to high noise levels. Appropriate hearing protection will be provided and required in designated areas.
- Perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, use of hand tools and lifting upwards of 30-50 pounds
