Job Title: Ex Technician

Working Location: Oman (Onshore) - Residential

Contract Type: Contract
Contract Duration: 5 months (with possibility of extension)

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical equipment in accordance with industry standards for explosive atmospheres.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety regulations and procedures.
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of Ex equipment to guarantee safety and operational reliability.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports as required for compliance and auditing purposes.
- Collaborate closely with site teams and other technicians to ensure smooth workflow and minimize downtime.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Ex Technician or in a similar role working with hazardous area equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical installations in onshore environments.
- Strong understanding of safety practices related to explosive atmospheres.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
- Relevant technical certifications for Ex equipment (CompEx or equivalent preferred).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability to work residentially in Oman for the specified contract period.

Work Schedule:
- Residential, onshore assignment in Oman.
