This position reports to:
Maintenance Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Maintenance team. Each day, you will conduct activities according to agreed maintenance guidelines and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by increasing the overall efficiency of the equipment and production line.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Repair, replace, and overhaul mechanical components such as bearings, gearboxes, belts, chains, pumps, valves, and pneumatic systems.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical manuals, and pneumatic diagrams.
• Carry out machine setup, alignment, calibration, and adjustment activities according to production requirements.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
• Report recurring mechanical issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.

Qualifications for the role

• Technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of the English language.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills in mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical maintenance techniques and industrial equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment, reliability, problem-solving attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Availability to work night shifts, weekends, and on a continuous shift schedule if required.
• Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is considered an advantage.

• Applicable CBA: Metalmeccanico
• Company defined package above minimum annual salary per CBA
• Variable Pay:Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus
