SLB is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on individual to join our Nisku team as a Maintenance Technician Millwright. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing heavy industrial equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations. This position plays a key role in supporting daily production by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and completing maintenance and rebuild work across the facility.

We are looking for someone who is curious, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a hands-on industrial environment. This role offers strong development opportunities, particularly for apprentices looking to build technical expertise across a wide range of equipment while working in a safety-first and team-oriented environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Execute maintenance, repair, and rebuild activities on heavy industrial machinery.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify root causes of equipment failures.
  • Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, high-temperature, and high-pressure systems.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Follow all SLB safety standards and procedures, ensuring a strong safety-first mindset in all tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Apprentice or Journeyman Millwright certification is required or in progress.
  • Mechanical background is considered a strong asset.
  • Strong hands-on skills and familiarity with basic tools and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a shop environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada without company sponsorship
