Our client is looking to hire an experienced Mechanical Fitter / Technician to assist with Base Operations. The role will involve repair, maintenance, certification, and mobilisation of equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain onshore/offshore equipment
• Load out of equipment per equipment requests
• Assist with certification of equipment and recording of same
• Maintain base in clean, tidy condition
• General workshop duties
• HSEQ
Main Duties:
Equipment maintenance and repairs – Filtration units, Ball Valves, Hoses and Fittings Assist with equipment certification

• Assist with certification of equipment and recording of same

Main Duties:
Equipment maintenance and repairs – Filtration units, Ball Valves, Hoses and Fittings Assist with equipment certification
- Completion of maintenance check sheets
- Assist with ensuring units are properly prepared for mobilisation and on demobilisation
- Assist with dealing with pressure testing and inspections of units & certifications for relevant customer requirements
- Assist with completing all relevant paperwork and certification for all equipment for each job Ensuring necessary consumables are available & sent for each job
- Ensuring safe storage of equipment in yard and consumables in correct location on racking Assist in ensuring stock sheet is maintained with correct location for each consumable item. Packing & loading of containers
- Checking equipment & consumables on return against load out lists Ensuring Base is always tidy and safe
- Ensuring members of staff and visitors wear appropriate PPE and adhere to site rules Internal requisition of spares and consumables
- General workshop duties as instructed
- Forklift checks per check sheet Deliveries as necessary
Experience required:
- Mechanical/Fitter skills
- Knowledge of safe onshore workshop base operations
- Knowledge of stores & logistics processes Knowledge of inventory control & management
