Maintenance Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings, along with maintaining and repairing pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic equipment. Planning and scheduling, and maintaining grounds and is responsible for the implementation of directives, policies and controls in supervising the department. The work model for the role is: onsite #LI-onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Installation Products division in Jonesboro, AK. You will be mainly accountable for: • Holds team member safety and wellbeing paramount to all other activities and directs workers engaged in both reactive and preventive maintenance tasks. • Directs workers engaged in facility maintenance task such as climate control, boilers, and facility utilities and requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies. • Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards and monitor progress, cost of suppliers, and contractors for equipment and production projects. • Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals while at times performing activities of workers supervised.

Qualifications for the role

• 5+ years of managerial/supervisory experience working in a technical environment with machinery equipment and tooling.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
