Project Lead Engineer (420 kV GIS)
Proposed start date: January 2026
Duration: 1 year, with possibility for extension
Working hours: 5 days per week, 37.5 hours (7.5 hours per day)
Location: Preferably Oslo; alternative locations in Norway may be considered, with regular visits to the Oslo office
Travel & Overtime: No overtime. Travel time outside normal working hours is compensated at 50% of the hourly rate.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Project Lead Engineer to take a key role in delivering technical leadership across several customer projects in Norway.

How You'll Make an Impact
• Lead and manage technical project activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, timelines, contractual obligations, financial targets, and safety requirements.
• Focus on power and control system deliveries for customers in sectors such as grid operations, industry, and transport.
• Coordinate and guide a multidisciplinary engineering team, both internally and externally.
• Work closely with sales and project execution teams, maintaining strong customer engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with the project manager to align objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
• Work with high-voltage installations (>36 kV), transformers, protection and control systems, and auxiliary power supplies.
• Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to the continuous development of technical solutions.
Your Background
• Senior-level engineering professional with over 5 years of relevant experience.
• Educational background in electrical engineering or related power distribution disciplines.
• Experience in leading technical teams or coordinating multidisciplinary engineering work is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of interfaces between high-voltage equipment, protection and control systems, and various engineering disciplines (electromechanical, electrical, systems, commissioning).
• Ability to work effectively according to quality, HSE, and financial performance standards.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with colleagues, partners, and customers.
• Proactive, self-driven, and capable of working independently.
Language Requirements:
o English - required
o Scandinavian language - preferred
