Commissioning - Enhancing Outcomes

We are looking for a skilled and strategic professional to join our Adults Commissioning Team as a Commissioning Lead within our Strategic Team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape services that make a real difference to the lives of people in Wiltshire.

The Strategic Commissioning Team are responsible for commissioning strategies, data, demand forecasting, recommissioning, relationship management, market development and sustainability, the voluntary sector and transformation. The team also work closely with our Quality & Performance and Commercial Commissioning Teams.

You will lead complex commissioning programmes across health and social care, working through the full commissioning cycle - from planning and analysis to implementation and review. Your role will involve developing joint commissioning arrangements, managing resources, and building strong partnerships with providers, voluntary organisations and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, cost-effective services.

We are seeking someone with expert knowledge of social care policy and legislation, and significant experience in commissioning or procurement within health and social care. You will have a proven track record of delivering improved outcomes and managing risk in complex programmes. Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to balance competing priorities and influence at all levels.
