Your role and responsibilities
As the Project Lead for the Collaborative Communities Board and Health and Wellbeing Board, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping Suffolk's health and wellbeing outcomes.

The Public Health and Communities (PH&C) directorate is dedicated to building the foundations for Healthy People, Healthy Places, and Healthy Futures, creating safer, stronger, and more resilient communities in Suffolk. We're proud to work in partnership with local communities, health and care partners, the voluntary sector, and more, tackling inequalities and supporting those with the greatest need. Our collaborative spirit, shared values, and commitment to making a difference make this a rewarding team to be part of.
We typically work from the office on Wednesdays, with flexibility for a second day based on team needs.

Your role and responsibilities
As the Project Lead for the Collaborative Communities Board and Health and Wellbeing Board, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping Suffolk's health and wellbeing outcomes.
- Oversight of the Local Welfare Assistance Scheme (LWAS)
- Reporting and forecasting with LWAS applications
- Dissemination of guidance relating to Household Support Fund (HSF) and its associated conditions
- Gathering data and using that to inform returns to central government for the HSF
- Reporting and evaluation of the HSF and its impact
- Drafting of grant agreements
- Collaborate and liaising with key stakeholders and partners
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners
- Support workstreams across the pillar with wider Collaborative Communities Board and Health and Wellbeing Board functions
- Involvement with the subgroups, projects and day to day running of the Collaborative Communities Board and Health and Wellbeing Board
You will need
- A suitable professional qualification at degree level or equivalent experience in a relevant area.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Experience in public health theory and practice, using evidence-based approaches.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present complex data.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, adaptable for diverse audiences.
- Project management experience, with a track record of delivering successful initiatives from inception to completion.
- The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships across a range of partners and organisations.
- A passion for making a positive difference for Suffolk, with a commitment to fairness, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- Creativity, adaptability, and a collaborative approach.
