Team Overview:
The Design department is responsible for developing innovative, practical, and fully coordinated mechanical and electrical building services solutions tailored to each project. Working closely with clients, project teams, and the BIM department, the design team transforms concepts into detailed, build-ready technical designs that meet regulatory standards, client specifications, and sustainability goals. Their work underpins the technical accuracy and efficiency of our installations, ensuring seamless integration from planning through to construction.
Role Overview:
This role will be based in the Amsterdam region to manage from a building Services engineering perspective our strong pipeline of work in the region.
To assist in the preparation of mechanical designs for commercial heating plantrooms and prefabricated products for the Mission critical data centre sector.
Working in conjunction with an established design team who operate with the latest AutoCAD & MEP 3D design packages you will be tasked to coordinate all the M&E services within the offsite fabrication packages to ensure that they can be fabricated, delivered, and installed to the client specification and current regulations.
Your role will deliver the completed design for the project so that it can be handed over to our contract's teams for fabrication and installation, acting as a key point of contact and information, liaising with all stakeholders to provide a professional service to the highest standards.

What You'll be Doing
Overall responsibility for delivering the project from contract award through design approval and readiness for fabrication and construction, including reviewing and guiding engineering designs to ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards. The role involves leading and chairing weekly client-facing and internal design meetings, defining project scope and deliverables at an early stage, managing BIM and design development, and coordinating with suppliers, contractors, contracts managers, and commissioning teams to ensure buildable, compliant, and client-aligned outcomes. It also includes developing and expanding internal M&E design capabilities, attending design meetings across Ireland, the UK, and Europe as required, maintaining professional stakeholder relationships, and staying informed on emerging technologies and modern design integration.
