Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of relevant experience)
Experience: Ability to evidence strong technical knowledge
Skills and Abilities:
Experienced professional with demonstratable understanding of their current area of specialization.
Strong oral and written communications.
Ability to establish relationships with internal and external subject matter experts on multiple cross-career area teams for small to medium-sized projects.
Demonstrated judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

Job Responsibilities
- Works with the sales and commercial teams to provide mechanical technical inputs for quotation.
- Receives dimensional reports following inspection of mechanical items and produces an engineering disposition, workscope and customer report.
- Assists in troubleshooting customer technical issues.
- Provide support to other internal teams with technical knowledge
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.
- Works independently, receives minimal guidance
- Solves complex technical problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
- Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams
- Promote personal accountability for Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) by adhering to the principles and guidelines outlined in HMH's HSSE governing policy
