Job Description

The Lead Process Engineer is responsible for managing and delivering all process engineering activities across assigned projects, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance with industry standards, and on-time execution. The role requires strong engineering expertise, technical leadership, and the ability to support proposals, design development, and client engagement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead process engineering activities, including preparation and review of calculations, simulations, datasheets, PFDs, P&IDs, and technical reports to meet project deadlines and compliance requirements.
• Review ITTs and develop cost-effective technical proposals, providing fast-track and alternative solutions that meet client and operational requirements.
• Develop and optimize process designs, adopting new technologies to improve cost, reliability, and operability.
• Support proposal cost estimation, prepare RFQ packages, and evaluate vendor bids and documentation.
• Mentor process engineers and contribute to the enhancement of engineering procedures and documentation.
• Participate in HAZOPs, KO meetings, FATs, and vendor visits; act as the process focal point for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide technical support to operational facilities, including international travel when required.
• Engage with clients to ensure satisfaction with process solutions and support issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with Quality, HSE, Code of Conduct, and company standards, actively contributing to continuous improvement.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience as a Process or Proposals Engineer in the oil & gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of upstream processes, including oil, gas, and produced water treatment.
• Experience with Early Production Facilities and modular equipment packages.
• Proven capability in developing process designs from concept to execution, including unit operation selection.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as HYSYS, FlareSIM, Flare System Analyzer, and MS Office.
• Experience conducting vendor document reviews and integrating process packages.
