Royal Greenwich Integrated Commissioning team are recruiting a Strategic Commissioning and System Development Lead to join our Health and Adult Services workforce for the portfolio area of Ageing Well. This role will hold responsibility for our bed based ageing well commissioning.

We are looking for system leaders with experience in co-producing services with communities, excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and a desire to make a difference in Greenwich . You will represent both the Council and NHS as an integrated Commissioner.Throughdeveloping strong partnerships and utilising appropriate governance structures, you will lead the commissioning of high-quality services that support Greenwich people to lead healthy,fulfilling,and independent lives.
Among other duties, the postholder will lead on the specific portfolio area of Bed based ageing well which includes Older people care homes and our discharge to assess pathways.The postholder will work closely with our Quality assurance team, commissioners and partners and ensure strategic development, clear priorities and targets for achievement that improve the lives of local residents.Working collaboratively with the market, residents and colleagues across the system, you will implement transformational change through commissioning for outcomes, including further integration of health, care, and other forms of support. You will have responsibility for delivering all commissioning activities in high value projects.
