We are looking for an experienced Project Lead to drive the end-to-end implementation of a new Technology Business Management (TBM) tool within ING. In this role, you will lead the harmonisation of cost allocation processes across the bank, ensuring that our financial data and reporting align with the TBM taxonomy. Your work will directly enable senior CTO leadership to make informed, data-driven strategic decisions.

In this role, you will lead the harmonisation of cost allocation processes across the bank, ensuring that our financial data and reporting align with the TBM taxonomy. Your work will directly enable senior CTO leadership to make informed, data-driven strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of the TBM tool, from initiation to go-live and post-implementation stabilisation.
- Harmonise and standardise cost allocation methodologies across multiple business units.
- Ensure alignment of reporting structures with the TBM taxonomy, enabling consistent, transparent financial insights.
- Partner with Finance, Tech, Data Management, and other stakeholders to secure buy-in and ensure cross-functional integration.
- Translate complex financial and operational requirements into actionable project deliverables.
- Deliver clear, concise reporting to senior CTO management to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities in financial processes and system integrations.
Who You Are
- A strong project leader with a proven track record in delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Experienced as a Business Controller or in a comparable financial role, with a deep understanding of financial processes, cost allocation, and reporting structures.
- Skilled in navigating large, matrixed organisations and managing diverse stakeholder groups.
- Able to navigate a large, complex, and often ambiguous global matrix organisation - proactive, resilient, and not thrown off by competing priorities.
- Able to communicate complex financial and technical topics clearly and credibly at all levels of the organisation.
- Comfortable working with financial systems, data flows, and operational processes within a banking environment (ING experience is a strong plus).
- Proactive, structured, and able to drive progress in an environment with many moving parts.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Finance, Business Control, Project Management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects, preferably involving systems implementation or process harmonisation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in English.
- Experience with TBM, cost transparency frameworks, or financial tooling implementation is beneficial.
