Project Lead - Engineering & Facilities

We are seeking an experienced Project Lead to oversee engineering and facilities projects across our site, taking responsibility from concept through to completion. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional with strong project management skills and a hands-on approach to site improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering and facilities projects, including small works, major clean room refits, and equipment installations.
• Coordinate machinery installations, equipment relocations, and facility upgrades.
• Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
• Oversee contractors and internal teams during project execution, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and CDM regulations.
• Work closely with the Facilities & Works Engineering Manager and engineering team to deliver site improvements.
• Provide regular progress updates and reporting on project status.
• Support ongoing infrastructure enhancements and engineering developments across the site.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience managing engineering or facilities projects from concept to completion.
• Strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of building services and plant systems, including electrical, plumbing, air handling units (AHUs), chillers, ventilation, and ductwork.
• Experience coordinating contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Competent in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Relevant engineering qualification desirable (Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or similar).
• CDM qualification or demonstrable experience working under CDM regulations.
• Project management training or certification is an advantage.
