The Role

As Lead Electrical Engineer, you are the technical backbone of our electrical discipline. You actively contribute to projects and product development while acting as a central point of contact between engineering, project management, and other departments. You combine hands-on engineering with coordination, quality oversight, and expert advice.

What You'll Be Doing

• Coordinating and planning electrical engineering activities across projects
• Designing, reviewing, and managing electrical diagrams using EPLAN
• Safeguarding the technical quality of products and engineering processes
• Acting as the go-to electrical expert for project teams and stakeholders
• Preparing functional descriptions and technical specifications
• Monitoring planning, progress, and compliance with technical standards
• Sharing knowledge and continuously developing both yourself and the team

About You

You're an enthusiastic and driven electrical engineer who enjoys working in a team-based, project-oriented environment. You take ownership, think analytically, and aren't afraid to make decisions. Collaboration comes naturally to you, and you're motivated by achieving the best possible result together.

Requirements

• A completed HBO degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, or similar
• Proven experience in electrical engineering (experience within mechanical engineering or logistics is a plus)
• Experience with EPLAN is an advantage
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
• Knowledge of international mechanical engineering standards (CE and/or UL knowledge is a plus)
