Senior Communication Manager (all gender) - Project Gennaker offshore wind farm

Your future tasks:

• Lead and implement all external communication activities for the large-scale offshore wind project (Gennaker) across media, social media, digital channels and communication materials, working closely with cross-functional project stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency and effective information flow across all project interfaces
• Develop the project narrative and key messages, ensuring alignment with corporate communications and overall company positioning
• Ensure consistency, accuracy and timing of all project-related communications
• Contribute to reputation management and crisis communication related to the project
• Produce communication materials linked to project milestones and specific activities (presentations, fact sheets, leaflets, briefing materials, etc.)
• Draft and coordinate press releases, project updates and communication content across relevant channels
• Manage media relations, including press inquiries, interviews and media monitoring related to the project and the offshore wind sector
• Manage and update the official project website (including content, visuals and overall structure)
• Coordinate filming and photography throughout the construction phase, including the production of project videos and visual storytelling
• Support stakeholder engagement activities, including public events, information sessions and stakeholder meetings
• In collaboration with the Project Director and Stakeholder Manager, plan and implement outreach initiatives such as public consultations, community events and educational activities
• Act as a key communication interface for the project, helping to anticipate stakeholder expectations and potential issues to support smooth project delivery
• Recruit and manage external suppliers (freelancers or agencies)
• Ensure project communication is aligned with and supports Skyborn Renewables's corporate communications activities

Your profile:

• Several years of experience (ideally around 6 years or more) in communications, external relations, or journalism
• Very good command of German and English, both written and spoken
• Strong writing and content development skills
• Ability to translate technical and operational topics into clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate communication
• Structured and self-driven way of working, with the ability to think both strategically and operationally
• Creative mindset with a strong sense for storytelling and impactful communication
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Proactive approach in identifying opportunities to communicate and position key topics
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment
