Responsibilities

-Provide leadership and direction to the Commissioning Electro Team, ensuring a high focus on health, safety, and the environment.
-Contribute to project forecasts, schedules, and cost estimates for the commissioning of electrical systems.
-Manage contractors and other resources providing services and equipment for Electro Systems Commissioning.
-Develop, review, and implement commissioning procedures.
-Implement the commissioning certification and handover process according to project strategy.
-Ensure the safe and efficient handover of plant and equipment to the operations team.
-Act as the site Commissioning Authority during commissioning phases when required.
-Witness contractor and supplier tests (FAT/SAT) as necessary.

Required expertise

-Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
-Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
-A proven track record of engineering competency and delivery in the Oil & Gas industry.
-Demonstrated ability to engage and lead a team of professionals, engineers, and technicians.
-Effective project management skills.
-Familiarity with planning tools, work management systems, and document management systems.
-Experience from Valhall's operations is considered a significant advantage.
Language: English and Norwegian (written and verbal)
Location: Onshore at Stord, Norway, with subsequent offshore work
Work schedule: Full-time
Duration: Assignment from June 2026 to June 2027
