An exciting opportunity has become available to work within National House Project Team in Cheshire East. The position is for 1.0 FTE (37) per week over a Monday to Friday working pattern.

About You

You will lead the design, development, and delivery of a Local House Project, working intensively with children in care and care leavers to support them in preparing for independence and securing long-term, sustainable tenancies. You will provide strong leadership and direction to a specialist team, ensuring high-quality, safe, and youth-centred practice at all times.

You will work collaboratively with young people, partners, and stakeholders to embed co-production at every level of the project, enabling young people to shape decisions that affect their lives. You will build and maintain effective multi-agency relationships, particularly with social care, housing providers, and the National House Project, to ensure joined-up and sustainable support.

As part of the role, you will oversee day-to-day delivery, performance monitoring, and quality assurance of the project. This includes managing risk, ensuring robust information and reporting systems, and facilitating reflective supervision and case formulation alongside the project psychologist.

The role is varied and dynamic, with no two days the same. For further detail, please refer to the 'In this job you will' section within the attached job description and person specification.

The successful candidate will have:
  • Extensive knowledge of working with care-experienced young people and care leavers;
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and supervisory skills;
  • The ability to converse at ease with young people, staff, and partner agencies;
  • A flexible and solution-focused approach to work;
  • Experience of multi-agency working and managing complex projects or services.

To find out more about the essential and desirable criteria for the role, please view the attached job description and person specification document.

In return we are able to offer:
  • Enhanced annual leave - Start with an impressive 34 days of annual leave (including bank holidays) from day one, and watch it grow to 39 days after just five years of service
  • Purchase of annual leave - Want more time off? You can purchase up to 10 extra days of annual leave each year, giving you the flexibility to balance work and life just the way you want (Pro-rata for part-time staff)
  • Flexible working pattern - Enjoy a 37-hour standard full-time work week with the added perks of flexi-time and hybrid/remote working arrangements where possible. Your work-life balance just got a whole lot better
