Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
• Certified Lead Auditor (ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 preferred)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead HSE Management System Auditor to evaluate, strengthen, and ensure the effectiveness of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) systems. The role focuses on reviewing SHEM frameworks, conducting structured gap analyses, and aligning organizational practices with international standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end audits of HSE Management Systems in accordance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
• Review existing SHEM (Safety, Health & Environment Management) policies, standards, procedures, and governance structures
• Conduct detailed gap analysis to identify non-conformities and areas for improvement
• Benchmark current HSE practices against international standards and industry best practices
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and corporate HSE policies
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports, including findings, risk assessments, and recommendations
• Drive and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to closure
• Support internal and external certification and surveillance audits
• Provide expert advice on HSE system improvements and governance enhancements
• Deliver training and awareness sessions on HSE standards and compliance expectations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed a culture of safety and continuous improvement

Key Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems)
• Strong understanding of HSE regulations, compliance frameworks, and audit methodologies
• Proven experience in gap assessments, risk analysis, and system implementation
• Excellent report writing and stakeholder communication skills
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in industries such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Infrastructure, or Manufacturing
• Exposure to GCC / Middle East regulatory environments
• Experience working on large-scale or multi-site projects
