People Policy & Projects Lead, 12 Weeks - Leading Professional Body - London with hybrid working - £30.86 per hour (umbrella)

This is a great opportunity for an HR Generalist with experience of developing, implementing and embedding people policies.

As the People Policy & Projects Lead you will deliver innovative and ground-breaking policy and project work to ensure their employee experience is the best that it can be and to enhance the services that the People & OD team provides.

Your key accountabilities will include:-

• Reviewing, developing, implementing and evaluating a range of employment policies
• Undertaking appropriate research to ensure that employment policies and procedures are benchmarked against other organisations
• Working with Learning and OD colleagues to develop and deliver training materials
• Mapping, analysing and streamlining end-to-end processes to drive continuous improvement
• Developing and undertaking people projects

You should be an experienced HR Generalist with a track record of developing and implementing people policies within a complex organisation ideally within the not for profit sector. An excellent knowledge of HR best practice needs to be combined with strong project management skills. Ideally you will have worked in a unionised environment and be Level 7 CIPD qualified. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential.
