Purpose of the Role
As Interim Lead Procurement Business Partner, you will provide experienced operational leadership to the Procurement team during this temporary 6-month assignment, acting as deputy to the Head of Procurement & Facilities and ensuring continuity across day-to-day procurement activities and delivery priorities. This role will enable the Head of Procurement & Facilities to focus on changes to the operating model in partnership with Triodos Group, while you sustain effective service, maintain procurement momentum, and support the delivery of 2026 cost reduction targets through pragmatic, value-focused sourcing and supplier decisions. An essential part of the assignment will be to build strong partnerships across the UK business, helping stakeholders navigate procurement requirements, while ensuring that all activity is managed in line with Triodos Bank UK governance, policy, and control requirements.
We operate a hybrid working model with some in-office work required at our Bristol headquarters. You'll also have the flexibility to work from home on other days. Occasional travel to our Group Head Office in the Netherlands may be needed for collaboration.

Key Responsibilities - You will be required to:
- Provide day-to-day operational leadership to the Procurement team, setting priorities, resolving issues, and maintaining service continuity.
- Act as deputy to the Head of Procurement & Facilities, offering cover, support, and leadership across agreed areas of responsibility.
- Support delivery of 2026 cost reduction targets by identifying, progressing, and helping to realise procurement savings opportunities across the business.
- Partner with stakeholders across the UK business to deliver commercially sound procurement outcomes and a positive, enabling service experience.
- Oversee procurement activity across the pipeline, ensuring sourcing events, renewals, negotiations, and supplier decisions progress effectively and in line with agreed timelines.
- Provide commercial input and challenge on supplier negotiations, contract terms, and sourcing decisions to improve value for money and reduce risk.
- Ensure all procurement activity is managed in line with relevant policies, governance requirements, and third-party risk expectations.
- Use management information and pipeline insight to track progress, surface risks and issues, and support clear reporting on activity, delivery, and savings performance.
- Support and lead on key negotiations, renewals, and sourcing activity, bringing pace, challenge, and commercial insight as required.
Experience Required:
- Strong procurement leadership experience within financial services, with a proven track record of operating in interim or contract roles.
- Demonstrable experience leading procurement operations across sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation, including prioritisation, coaching, and acting as a senior escalation point.
- Strong commercial acumen, with evidence of identifying and delivering cost reduction opportunities while balancing service, risk, and stakeholder needs.
- Experience building effective relationships across business functions and working collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver pragmatic procurement outcomes.
- Good understanding of procurement governance, third-party risk considerations, and control requirements within financial services.
- Ability to work at pace, manage and assess multiple priorities quickly, and bring structure and momentum to a busy operational environment.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to use data to track pipeline activity, savings delivery, and operational performance.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, including confidence in working with senior stakeholders across the UK business.
- Relevant procurement qualification is desirable.
